Privacy notice

How Screenroo handles your information when you complete a phone screening.

Who holds your data

The recruitment agency that sent you the screening link is the data controller for your application. Screenroo processes the data on their behalf.

What we collect

  • • The name, email address and phone number you enter.
  • • A transcript of your screening call.
  • • A recording of the call, only if you separately agreed to it.
  • • The structured answers and assessment produced from that transcript.

How it is used

Your answers are shared with the recruiting agency so a human recruiter can decide whether to take your application forward. The assessment is advisory: a person makes the decision, not the system. Assessment is based on what you said about your experience and circumstances — never on your voice, accent or manner of speaking.

What we never ask or record

The screening does not ask about, and the assessment does not consider, protected characteristics: religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, political beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or family status, pregnancy, age, disability, health, or criminal record.

Your data is not used to train AI models

Transcripts and recordings are not used to train machine-learning models.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact the recruiting agency that sent you the link, or email the address on their careers page. Deletion removes your record, transcript and any recording.
